Crocus
Usually only popping up in late Winter (some varieties are in late Fall), crocus are a pretty little flower. The Winter varieties are a good sign that Spring is right around the corner. The blooms are a welcome sight to bees, as they are usually the first flowers to bloom of the year. Once temps start to get hot, they go dormant again until the following year.
Mine have already gone back to being dormant for the year, but here's what they looked like:
(I have yellow, purple, white, and striped)
