Animals
What massive food project is complete, without animals?
Chickens -
Eggs, pest/weed control, and help with surface tilling of new or re-worked garden beds.
Bees - With all these flowers, need plenty of pollinators. Our local, wild bees prefer to work the State Park next to us first. This poses a problem when some fruit trees like to bloom early in the year. Honeybees it is! Added benefit of honey. :-)

I am also not the only person around here with bees. I've seen honeybees around here, before mine even arrived.
It would be nice for the other beek to reach out and we can compare notes on our hives.
